AMAGIC FOIL - TEXTILE PRINTNG FOIL

Application Settings:

Temperature: Stay under 320°F
Pressure: Medium/Firm
Dwell Time: 8-15 seconds

Note about temperature: foil does not need temperature to work. Foil will transfer cold to packaging tape because the tape is tacky. The adhesive needs the temperature and time to become tacky. Check with your adhesive manufacturer for proper settings. However too much heat can damage the foil color and release capabilities. Avoid high heat.

Screen print your image with foil adhesive
Mesh count should be between 60 (24cm) and 110 (43 cm);
* Smart tip: make sure your screen is at proper tension;
*  Smart tip: a thicker than normal EOM stencil will result in better coverage;
*  Smart tip: mix your adhesive thoroughly to soften before adding to the screen;
*  Smart tip: sheer (don’t push) the adhesive through the screen.

Suggested Print Processes:
Print > Flash > Print > Smoothing Screen or;
Two print strokes > smoothing screen.
Place the textile foil, color side up, over the area chosen to be foiled.
Using the above heat press settings, transfer the foil.
Use a soft cloth to rub the foil lightly and then peel the foil away, warm or cold peel.
